Our goal is to give
Missouri veterans an outlet to share their wealth of
knowledge and experiences with Missouri’s youth.
Veterans are able to share valuable information that
can be useful in the different fields of social studies
and work to increase patriotism in American classrooms.
Additionally, since the purpose of social studies
education is to promote active citizenship, veterans
will serve as an outstanding example of service to one’s
community, state, and nation.
Veterans are currently
able to access links to veterans service
organizations, links to access contact information for local school
districts/schools, and links to
various veterans services and benefits of which many
veterans are not currently aware. If you are a
veteran and may believe you could be eligible for
veterans benefits, please access the Missouri Veterans
Commission website listed below to receive information
